Community Kitchen Community Kitchen Moberly is funded solely by donations & is run by volunteers from the community. This meeting resulted in the birth of Community Kitchen.

We are a 501(c)(3) corporation, all contributions are tax deductible. Community Kitchen was organized over lunch on January 13, 2011, when 13 individuals sharing a vision of feeding people met to discuss their ideas. The name "Community Kitchen" was chosen because it encompasses more than a soup kitchen. The intent is to provide food and fellowship for anyone, a welcoming place to come and get to know your neighbors. Although the intent is to serve the needy, Community Kitchen does not screen the patrons and welcomes anyone who comes through the door. The food is free, however, donations are accepted. More than 15 local churches, several businesses, organizations and individuals prepare and serve food. We serving healthy home cooked meals to approximately 150 guests twice a week.

14th-- Lasagna, salad, bread, and dessert prepared by our Culinary Queens
17th-- Chili and cornbread Redeemer Church Moberly
19th-- sweet potato soup with turkey salad sandwich
21st-- roast beef open face sandwich, potato, mixed veggies, dessert sponsored, prepared and served by Timber Lake Christian Church
24th-- chili with peanut butter sandwich sponsored, prepared and served by the Randolph County Democrats
26th-- Potato Soup and ham with cheese sandwich
28th-- pork sandwich, mac n cheese, carrot/celery sticks, brownies sponsored, prepared and served by Moberly Independent Holiness Church
31st-- open face turkey sandwich sponsored, prepared and serve by Trinity United Methodist Church

November 2026
2nd-- chili dogs and chips
4th-- chicken noodle and no bake cookies sponsored by Becraft Jewelers of Moberly and prepared by LEAF volunteers
7th-- cheesy chicken rice casserole, veggies, biscuit and dessert prepared and served by Heritage Baptist Church*Moberly
9th-- chicken noodle with grilled cheese Becraft Jewelers
11th-- biscuit and gravy, egg casserole, fruit salad THANK YOU TO ALL OUR VETERANS!
14th-- prepared and served by Carpenter Street Baptist Church
17th-- sponsored by Greg & Carol Carlos

People who show up in various ways like cleaning, preparing meals and/or portions of the meals, serving meals, doing dishes, setting up, working on maintenance projects, donating produce, food and finances towards making of meals...! We appreciate you ALL!

Come visit and get a meal- Mon, Wed, or Sat. Doors open at 10:30 and meal is served 11-1 as dine in OR carry out. We welcome everyone. No charge. Donations are greatly appreciated and needed.
