Doors open at 5pm. The VFW will offer a meal for $10: Choices are Hamburger, Hotdog, or Pulled Pork Sandwich with chips and baked beans.

Drinks and snacks will be available out of the bar.

Monday, Aug. 17th at 6pm the First Veterans Day Planning meeting will be held in the lounge at VFW Post 2654 starting at 6pm. Anyone in the community is welcome to attend if they wish to help with the planning of our parade and program!

We are CLOSED tonight for Bingo! We are too short staffed to be able to host bingo this evening. We will be open on Friday, Aug. 21st for Friday night bingo. Doors open at 4pm.

Today we recieved our 2025-2026 All State Award from our Department Commander Scott Huffman. We also recieved a Bronze Level Award for the Veterans Service Officer Program for the year. In the photo is our Past Commander Chris Wertz Quartermaster Rhonda Wertz and Department of Missouri State Commander Scott Huffman. Congratulations Post members!

This Saturday, Aug 8th from 8 to 10 am, is our monthly Veterans Breakfast. Free Breakfast for all veterans in the area. Come out and enjoy some good fellowship with other veterans! This is for ALL Veterans regardless of if you are a member of the VFW or not! ALL VETERANS ARE WELCOME TO COME OUT AND ENJOY BREAKFAST!

Flags will NOT be taken down today, they are too WET with the rain we have had overnight and this morning. The plan is to take them down next Saturday, July 18th starting at 9am! Please make plans to help next Saturday!
