"I have been involved with Derricks & Diamonds for more than 12 years, and there have been countless unforgettable memories along the way. One of my favorites is attending the annual Snowdrop luncheon and seeing the incredible number of scholarships awarded by this amazing organization. It is always inspiring to witness the impact we help make through Derricks & Diamonds and the lives that are changed because of it. I also look forward to the annual charity softball tournament, especially the kickoff game between Team Chelsey and Team Snowdrop. It is a fun tradition that brings everyone together for a great cause. Another memorable moment was the spirited dog bidding war at the 2024 Benefit, with Kevin Kline serving as MC. The energy in the room and the generosity of those involved made it a truly unforgettable experience. These are just a few of the many special memories I have been fortunate to experience over the years, and I am grateful to have been part of Snowdrop’s incredible mission and impact."

Thank you Katelin, for all that you've done for Snowdrop and your continuous support, helping us be the that much more impactful.

"One of my favorite Snowdrop memories is the Run Over Cancer in Sugar Land, Texas. What started as a small 5K grew into an incredible community event. In September 2016, we welcomed more than 600 runners, along with cheerleaders, Toro from the Houston Texans, over 30 vendors, and tremendous community support. The moment I'll never forget happened just before the race began. Kevin surprised me by announcing that the event would run in honor of my father, who had passed away from cancer. Standing among hundreds of runners, volunteers and supporters, I was overwhelmed with emotion. It was a powerful reminder that Snowdrop is about more than races, it's about honoring loved ones, supporting families, and bringing hope to those impacted by cancer. That memory will stay with me forever. "

Thank you for sharing Andrew and for being such a great friend to the Snowdrop Foundation!

"On May 2, 2026 I graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design and a minor in Entrepreneurship. Reaching this milestone is something I am incredibly proud of, and I know it would not have been possible without the encouragement and generosity of organizations like The Snowdrop Foundation.

Graduation was so special but even more special because I was selected to serve as the undergraduate student commencement speaker for the Class of 2026. Having the opportunity to represent my fellow graduates and reflect on our shared experiences was both humbling and meaningful. Following commencement, the story was featured on the front page of my local newspaper, which was an unexpected and exciting way to celebrate the conclusion of my undergraduate journey.

As I look ahead, I am actively applying for full-time opportunities in graphic design and marketing. I am excited to begin my professional career and continue using creativity, strategic thinking, and visual storytelling to make a meaningful impact. My experiences as a student, entrepreneur, cancer survivor, and scholarship recipient have shaped the perspective I hope to bring to both my work and the communities I serve.

I have attached a few photos from commencement, including moments from my speech, as I wanted to share this special milestone with those who helped make it possible.

Thank you again for investing in my education and future. The Snowdrop Foundation's support has meant far more than financial assistance; it has been a reminder that there are people and organizations who believe in students and their potential. I am deeply grateful for your generosity and honored to be part of the Snowdrop community."

Congratulations on your amazing achievements Brianna!

"One of my favorite Snowdrop memories takes me back to my very first time dressing up as the Easter Bunny at Texas Children's Hospital. I was walking through the cancer center, still trying to get comfortable in a giant bunny costume, when I heard a little voice from way down the hallway scream, "EASTER BUNNY!" Before I could even wave, this little girl took off running full speed toward me. She raced down the hallway, arms outstretched, and slammed right into my leg with the biggest, tightest hug imaginable. For a few seconds, the treatments, the hospital rooms, and all the difficult things she was facing seemed to disappear. She was just a little girl excited to see the Easter Bunny. Nearly 20 years later, I still remember that hug. It was a reminder that sometimes the smallest momentsβ€”a costume, a smile, a hugβ€”can bring joy when it’s needed most. Those moments are what Snowdrop has always been about: creating hope, sharing love, and letting children and families know they are never alone. That little girl probably has no idea how much that hug meant to me, but it's a memory I have carried with me ever since."

Such a beautiful memory Trish! Easter Bunny visits are still a cherished visit every Easter!
