Meows & Mutts Rescue is a 501C3 non profit foster home based, no kill group. Mutts & Meows Rescue is a private rescue. We are not doing local adoptions often.

We work closely with other rescues as well as the Animal Control Departments of various municipalities in the Houston area to place dogs and cats in loving, permanent homes. Our pets live with foster families, so we know them well enough to make a good match between people and pets. Our adoption fees in state ($350 for dogs, $175 and up for cats) include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, FEV/FELV tests for cats, and heartworm tests for dogs and prevention while in our care. Out of state range dogs ($750 to $900), Cat ($450 to $650), includes the above plus transport cost across state lines

Come Meet Our Pets...
Meet our adoptable pets most of them online. Email us what you are looking for and we may have it just not online.

She is a little nervous at 1st hence the golden wide eyes. She has a mink soft coat and I don't see any shedding at this time. She is use to dogs and cats around but still needs slow introduction. She would be good with kids but may play a bit rough at first. Loud purr, loves scratching, pets and cuddles.

We are pleased to welcome Biscotti Loki to his temporary residence.

Biscotti Loki:
Male, neutered, born 04/20/26, Siamese-Seal Point Tabby.

Due to his high energy levels, which proved overstimulating for the children in his previous household, Biscotti Loki requires a home with another cat or a more active environment to better suit his needs. Following his original adoption, the shelter was unable to facilitate his return; consequently, we have taken him in to ensure his ongoing safety. He is fully vetted, microchipped, and health-tested. He will be provided with a starter kit including a scratching post, backpack carrier, food, bowls, toys, a litter box, and his essential comfort blanket. An adoption fee applies to ensure a secure placement and to support our continued rescue efforts.

You are invited to submit an application to meet him in advance, or you may visit us this Sunday at PetSmart, located at 19945 Katy Freeway, Houston, TX 77094, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, where our cat adoption center will be open.
