Bayou City/Southwest Houston Blessings in a Backpack Blessings in a Backpack is a nonprofit organization that feed elementary school children who qualify for Free or reduce price meal program.

If you would like to send a donation to help feed the children at Foerster Elementary here's what you need to know:

1. Checks can be made payable to Blessings in a Backpack
with Foerster Elementary in the Memo & on the envelope

2. Please mail checks marked Foerster Elementary (on memo & envelope) to

3. $100=weeken

d meals for one child for 38 weeks (one school year)

4. Any dollar amount is helpful!

5. 100% of the money you send will go to feed the children at Foerster!

*Please message us with any questions you might have about either the national organization or our Blessings in a Backpack Southwest Houston! Blessings in a Backpack provides food for elementary school children across America who may otherwise have little or no food to eat on weekends during the school year. Blessings works towards this mission by providing backpacks full of food to elementary school children on the free or reduced price meal program each Friday of the school year.

NFC & A Mind To Work Community Development Corporation presents Feeding Around the Faith. Join us Saturday, January 25th 11am – 1 pm in the Faith Connexion Building at NFC. Hot meals will served & the Food & Clothing Pantry will also be open. There will also be a Blankets, New Socks, & Coats Drive. Come out & be apart of Feeding Around The Faith.
