A little birdie told us that the Baymont is upgrading and getting rid of furniture. We are told that the stuff for give away is outside. Go check it out if you are in need.

That’s all we know.

Thank you Rocky’s!!

Thank you Rocky’s!!

Together, we made an impact.

Thanks to your generosity — and Rocky’s matching every penny — we were very happy to give $11,074 to the Matthew 25 Project last quarter.

Thank you for rounding up with Rocky’s. Together, we can truly make a difference!

We have had 70 new shoppers so far this week and that means that our list of registered shoppers keeps growing. We have 6000 people in our system from the last year, about 1500 of them come every month. That means it’s time for some shopper tips!

1. You can come once a month.
2. You can only get the number of items that is on the sticker you get at check-in. Don’t go over. It causes a lot of extra work when we have to put things away again.
3. You need to show your ID at check-in.
4. We do not have a bathroom.
5. Keep track of your children and clean up any messes that may happen.
6. We no longer keep a list of people waiting for things.
7. If you put something on hold, you must make arrangements with us to pick it up within 48 hours. Use email or messenger to contact us.
8. We will not deliver to you. Because of a recent attempted assault on a volunteer, there are no exceptions to this policy. If you don’t have a vehicle to haul something, reach out to friends or ask on the pay it forward page.
9. We are volunteers and we are there to serve. However, we will not tolerate bad behavior. Please come with a good attitude and we will do the same.
10. Do not park in front of doors, in front of the other businesses in the building, the mailboxes or in front of no parking signs. You are welcome to park on the road if our lot is full.
11. The first half of the month is very busy. The second half is much more pleasant. Please consider waiting. You will have less wait time and more items to pick from.
12. We love Jesus. We will talk about Him with you and pray with you. Just ask. It is our joy.
