Our Mail It to Minneapolis community fundraiser is happening on Thursday, May 28 (not Wednesday) from 6–8 pm at Pizza Lucé Seward.

The silent auction featuring artwork sent from Winnipeg is already live — bid while you can! Proceeds support Minneapolis families navigating instability following this winter’s ICE enforcement activity.

Come by for artmaking, community, and solidarity. ❤️

This winter, we received an unexpected email from Art City , a nonprofit community art center in our sister city of Winnipeg.

🧊 Moved by the stress, harm, and uncertainty affecting families during recent immigration enforcement activity in Minneapolis, they launched «Mail It to Minneapolis» — inviting people to create and mail artwork in solidarity.

Through inclusive drop-in sessions, children, youth, and adults created original artworks that were sent to Articulture and will now be auctioned to support vulnerable neighbors in Minneapolis.

📣 Join us on May 28, 6–8 PM at Pizza Lucé Seward for a community gathering, artmaking, and auction in support of families impacted by this past winter’s ICE surge. Funds raised will go to the Greater Longfellow Neighborhood Community Fund.

🖼️ The online auction goes live on May 18. Scan the QR code in the poster or go to our website articulture.org to check it out and place bids.
 🖌️✉️❤️ We’ll also have art supplies available so participants can create thank-you messages to send back to Winnipeg.

🏫 After the auction, unsold works will be preserved by University of Minnesota as part of Minnesota’s history archive.

After a long winter of change we are starting our collaboration with with a few offerings spring and summer, available through their calendar.

🌿🌻These workshops center process, skill-building, and the shared joy of making — whether you’re trying something new or returning to a practice you love. More options will be coming this fall!

For 25 years, Articulture has been a creative home in the Twin Cities. Now, as we prepare for an exciting new chapter working with Twin Cities Maker, we’re turning a page. Our mission to empower individuals and communities through art continues, but our footprint is changing. And that means we have some items that need new homes.
This is a fundraising sale, and a passing of the torch with a little celebration. We’re inviting you to take home a piece of our history — items that have facilitated thousands of moments of creativity and connection, while chatting and enjoying together!
You’ll find everything from unique art books and display pieces to children’s books, art supplies, office cabinets, shelving units from our store, and even some kitchen supplies - in other words - something for everyone! Come with curiosity and leave with your treasure. Lots of office supplies, children’s toys and games, retail fixtures, artwork, and much much more!
