Meet the Native-led, Native-serving organizations receiving 2026 Minnesota Community IDEAS grants!

🌟 Dream of Wild Health
Grant funding will develop a pilot program of the Indigenous Farmers Initiative that will prepare a new generation of Native farmers to be climate leaders through re-connection with Indigenous agricultural practices.

🌟 Little Earth Residents Association
Grant funding will support construction of an aquaponics facility that will feature a vertical greenhouse, fish tanks for generative farming and build on seasonal Little Earth Urban Farm to preserve Indigenous growing practices as well as provide career readiness skills for Native youth.

🌟 Mewinzha Ondaadiziike Wiigaming
Grant funding will strengthen Mewinzha's capacity to lead its own major fundraising effort while building a giving model rooted in belonging and reciprocity — one that invites community, neighbors and partners in as relatives, joining together in a transformational vision of health and wellness.

Each of these organizations is making our communities better for everyone through meaningful, community-led change, and we're excited to support their work!

We are so thrilled to share that we’ve been selected as one of the Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation's 2026 Minnesota Community IDEAS grantees! Their community-led grant opportunity provides funding to organizations like ours which work to create lasting change. Dream of Wild Health was selected this year for our work for the land, the community, and healthy food.
