Aaniin Boozhoo! On September 22nd, we will be hosting our monthly Biinaabaawe Aki event, where we will be teaching about induction stoves, cooking on them, and sharing simple, delicious wild rice recipes. The event is free and open to the public. Come join us!

Happy 50th birthday to the Minneapolis American Indian Center!

The Minneapolis American Indian Center just turned 50 and has officially reached Baby Elder status! ❤

The center opened on Franklin Avenue in 1975 to help support the growing Native population in the Twin Cities. Since then, we've provided essential services and served as a central gathering space for countless relatives.
