We are soooo excited to take a break from our regular programming and bring you in on a new project we’ve been working on. It’s hush-hush for now, but you can expect:

For this month’s global CURATE theme, we’re trading the traditional talk for an interactive workshop centered around hobbies, passions, and shared interests—all designed to help us connect more deeply with one another.

Everybody say “DWELL LIKE AN ELEPHANT” 🐘🧡📸

These special moments were lovingly captured by our girl Kat Wegrzyniak ❣️ (how she manages to be in 42 places at once is a mystery yet to be solved.)

Thank you for hosting us, for a set to match our high vibes, for the creative nametag prompt, for your printing prowess, for helping strangers become friends, for designing our fun coloring pages (enjoyed by both the kiddos and our inner child), for a breakfast to remember (literally think about those little yogurt cups every day), .coffee for hot coffee and for the cold brew (!!!), for our tea-drinkers.

And big shout-out to for teaching us that the best things in life come from messing around and slowing down. Thank you for sharing your story (and your real life face) with us. You touched our hearts.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
dwellephant — illustrator, creative director and one of Milwaukee’s most recognizable artists — is our next featured speaker.

Since moving to Milwaukee in 2003, his work has become woven into the city’s creative identity through gig posters, branding, apparel, album art and campaigns for beloved local institutions like Bay View Bash, The Vanguard, Goodkind, Classic Slice, 88.9 Radio Milwaukee and Milwaukee Film Festival, along with artists including MF DOOM.

Beyond his illustration work, dwellephant has spent more than two decades in creative leadership and now serves as Marketing Director at Milwaukee Film.

Distinctive, community-minded and unmistakably Milwaukee, dwellephant is the kind of artist whose work you recognize before you know the name.
