As we continue to celebrate for the month of June, 6 years growing in our city, we also recognize June as "Men's Mental Health Month.

Join our sons as they engage in questions and subjects with men from the community as part of our "Guests who's In the Room"

As always we are looking for your help and support to help us pay our sons for tending to the garden, growing food free to you and transforming their lives, while cleaning up the community. "Restorative Just Us" we call it.

Celebrating 6 years of growing food in our city.

June is "Men's Mental Health Month." This Saturday, June 13, 2026, a licensed professional mental health counselor, Hilton L. Morris , will join us live for a candid discussion with our Sons. "I believe young people need support, guidance and a community that believes in them and invests in their growth and success." We welcome Mr. Morris into the room. Join us live.

CAGE is proud of our ability to bring the necessary professionals, from our community, right into the room, where our sons can have one on one conversations with them.

June 1st, We Celebrate 6 Seasons of growing in Milwaukee.

Hey Milwaukee we want to say Thank You for supporting our efforts. Thank you for always responding to our needs. CAGE is located in the heart of Milwaukee. We grow food for the people. For free.

Young Black and Brown boys gather here every Saturday, from 8 AM till Noon and labor for the community. They work 4 hours for $10 per hour and they leave proud of the work they've done. 8 AM till Noon, today they will be in the garden working. Calling on you to give and help today.

June 1st is the start of our 6th Season. We are asking everyone that will to donate to the 6th. Donate:

1. $6 and ask your network to donate with you
2. 6 seedling plants to put in the soil
3. 6 bags of soil to help the food grow
4. 6 packs of seeds of your choice
5. 6 hours volunteering and working with our sons
6. 6 choices of snacks for our sons to eat, while working
Take a moment, this morning and give. Come visit the garden before noon. Meet our sons personally.

9 AM, join us live, right here on Facebook. We talk in open dialogue. Giving you a chance to hear intelligence speak. Our sons. talk about various subjects and the most special part is "The Word of the Day." We end every live with our sons, introducing themselves and saying a word, and why they selected that word. BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!

June 1st we will celebrate 6 years of growing in Milwaukee.

Grateful for everyone helping this season. Thank you Cecelia Gore and the Brewers Community Foundation. Your gift will help us with our Saturday morning "SOS, Saving Our Sons" program.

Thank you June Perry-Stevens and Krystle Camille and BEST ED for the anniversary gift water bottles "6 Years and Counting."

Thank You Kevin Folivi for the apple and peach tree and all the plants you planted today.

CAGE, Community Agricultural Growing Experiences

Yesterday was a very exciting day in the garden. Our sons continued preparing the boxes for planting. Collard green seeds planted and tomato plants were planted. We pulled lettuce and lemon balm from the hydroponic machines. We were able to give away small bags to some of the firefighters and others. Hoping to transfer seedling plants from the machines to the ground outside and then plant more food in the machines this week.

Big thank you to Robert Wynn and Climb, for bringing their financial literacy program to CAGE
Shannon Reed II did a phenomenal job introducing our sons to the program and we are looking forward to joining their efforts.

We are gearing up for the Earn and Learn program. We are blessed to receive 25 participants and they will be very helpful in helping us reach our goal for growing food this season.

June 1st, marks the 6th year that CAGE will be in operation. Thank you to Firehouse 5 and everyone that has helped us survive. We are planning a celebration day to kick off the new year.

Sara Hays will be spending 30 minutes every Saturday teaching our young sons how to plant, grow and care for the food.

We are planning a great season and we welcome any help anyone wants to give to help us grow.
