Funeral Arrangements for John Everitt
DAV Chapter 125 Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the funeral arrangements for our dear friend and fellow comrade, John Everitt, who passed away on Sunday, September 6.
John’s service will be held at Avalon Baptist Church on Sunday, September 13, at 1:30 PM.
Avalon will also be celebrating its 40th Anniversary that day and has graciously opened its anniversary meal to John’s family, friends, and all who wish to gather in remembrance of his life. Everyone is welcome to join us for lunch beginning at 11:30 AM.
Following lunch, there will be time from 12:30–1:30 PM to visit with the Everitt family, share memories, offer comfort and support, and simply be together before John’s service begins.
Sunday, September 13
* 11:30 AM – Lunch and fellowship; everyone is welcome
* 12:30–1:30 PM – Time with the Everitt family
* 1:30 PM – John’s funeral service
John will be laid to rest at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date. We will share those arrangements as soon as they become available.
Our comrade John was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his DAV family, fellow Veterans, friends, and so many throughout our community. We hope our DAV Chapter 125 family will join together to surround the Everitt family with compassion, comfort, and support as we honor John’s life, his service, and the lasting impact he made on those around him.
