📚 What does $20,000+ in school supplies look like? 👀

It looks like shelves being filled, warehouses being emptied, and hundreds of Santa Rosa County District Schools, Florida teachers walking away with the supplies they need to help students succeed.

Tomorrow, the doors of the Little Red School House open once again, and we couldn’t be more excited!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers Bubba, Carter, Mark, Bill, Dave, and Garrett for rolling up your sleeves and spending countless hours moving thousands of dollars’ worth of school supplies from the warehouse and onto our shelves. Your hard work is what makes this possible.

We’re also incredibly grateful to the SRCSD Surplus Warehouse crew for allowing us to utilize your space while we prepared for opening day.

This program is only possible because of the generosity of our community. Thank you to the Rich Family, Walmart Gulf Breeze, Windjammers on the Pier Restaurant & Bar, the Navarre Beach Area Chamber Foundation, Grillin' In The Breeze, and the State of Florida School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program for investing in our teachers and students.

Every notebook, marker, folder, and pack of crayons represents one less item a teacher has to purchase out of their own pocket.

🍎 It’s beginning to look a lot like a new school year!

We’re stocking the shelves at the Little Red School House in preparation for our pre-planning opening and getting ready to welcome Santa Rosa County District Schools educators back for another great year.

Local businesses can help us fill the shelves by becoming a Little Red School House Shelf Sponsor. Your sponsorship will provide much-needed classroom supplies and help teachers begin the school year with the tools their students need to succeed.

We also invite all Santa Rosa County District Schools teachers to drop their classroom wish lists in the comments below! Our community may be able to help you start the school year with a few extra supplies.

Thank you Milton Woman’s Club for honoring our teachers through Teacher Years of Service Pins. We truly appreciate your support of our teachers!

Shout out to these incredible ladies on a combined 130 years of service!!! We were able to give them their service pins at our faculty meeting today! 🎉 We are so thankful for you and all you do for our students.

🎉 Congratulations to our 2026 Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year! 🎉

The Santa Rosa Education Foundation is proud to announce that Reghan Irvin, First Grade Teacher at Gulf Breeze Elementary School, has been named the 2026 Santa Rosa Rookie of the Year! 🍎✨

Selected from an incredible group of 32 outstanding educators with three or fewer years of teaching experience, Reghan was recognized during Thursday’s Rookie of the Year Reception for her dedication to students, positive classroom environment, and commitment to building strong relationships with families and her school community.
