🌱 When we invest in teachers, the impact keeps growing.

Our Teacher Grant program is about so much more than one project or one school year. The resources and learning experiences made possible through these grants can continue creating opportunities for students year after year.

We love seeing that impact in action at TR Jackson Pre-K Center! A garden originally supported by an SREF Teacher Grant is still growing and still providing hands-on learning opportunities for students.

Recently, the Dinosaur class harvested loofas grown from seeds planted in March. Through the experience, students explored the plant life cycle, collected seeds to plant again, and discovered how the dried fruit can become a natural loofah sponge. 🌱

SREF Teacher Grants are made possible through the State of Florida School District Education Foundation Matching Grant Program and the generous support of our community partners. Together, these investments help us provide innovative, hands-on learning opportunities that directly benefit Santa Rosa County District Schools, Florida.

This state investment, combined with support from our local partners, allows us to stretch every dollar further and create more opportunities for teachers and students right here in Santa Rosa County. 💚

🎉📚We are so excited for the opportunity to share the story of our Little Red School House Teacher Supply Depot as an IMPACT 100 Pensacola Bay Area finalist! ❤️🍎

The Little Red School House directly supports Santa Rosa County District Schools, Florida, providing free classroom supplies to our district educators so they can put those resources directly into the hands of Santa Rosa County students.

And the impact is already happening! This school year alone, 480 Santa Rosa County District Schools educators have visited the Little Red School House, helping us provide essential learning supplies that are reaching thousands of students across our district. 📚✏️

IMPACT 100 funding would allow us to strengthen that support by improving our two existing Teacher Supply Depot locations and adding a mobile supply depot to bring resources directly to schools throughout Santa Rosa County.

Every dollar invested in this project stays right here in our community—supporting our district schools, our teachers, and most importantly, our students. ❤️

We are incredibly grateful to IMPACT 100 for the opportunity to share our story and the impact this project can have across Santa Rosa County!

🎉 We are thrilled to share that the Santa Rosa Education Foundation is an IMPACT 100 grant finalist for our Little Red School House Teacher Supply Depot!
Every student deserves to walk into a classroom with the tools they need to learn and succeed. Through the Little Red School House, we provide free classroom supplies directly to Santa Rosa County District Schools, Florida educators. Helping ensure students have access to essential learning resources while easing the financial burden on the teachers who so often purchase those supplies themselves.
And the impact is already happening! ❤️ This school year alone, we have served 480 teachers, putting supplies into classrooms that reach thousands of Santa Rosa County students.

A HUGE thank you to every nonprofit that applied and shared their vision with us, and to our dedicated Focus Area Committee members who spent their summer reviewing applications, conducting site visits, and thoughtfully selecting this year’s finalists. 🙌

Next stop: Million Dollar Sunday on October 11, when our Members will hear from all 20 Finalists and select 13 Grant Recipients to receive a total of $1.313 MILLION! 🌟
