It’s almost camp time, so let’s introduce our STREET LEADERS for the summer!! Our first group are all THIRD YEAR SL’s with us!…

ELAYSIANNA (or, as the campers call her, “E”) 🎨 She is our resident artist and leads all art classes. E wants to become an EMT. She loves Dr. Peppers, cats, and anything creative. She loves playing Minecraft and watching New Girl. She is an MHS 2025 grad and is a camp star! She is always doing the kindest things in the background and never looking for recognition. 🥹

Nevaeh ✨ seems quiet at first— but she has said some of the funniest things at camp to date— and especially likes cracking on Philly. When I see her handling a class problem, I walk away because this girl is quietly in charge and keeps our campers in line! She is kind, dependable, and a sweetheart. Fun facts- she’s the oldest of 9, loves coloring, and her favorite animal is an arctic seal. She is also a 2025 MHS grad!

Nora ☀️ is our kindergarten class’s fave!! All the kids flock to her. She is a hard worker, is almost fluent in ASL, and is in college to become a teacher! (Makes sense because she is fantastic with kids!) She loves to hang out with friends, is Kayla’s younger sister (slide right;), and always has a summer glow when the rest of us are drenched in sweat! She will do anything asked of her to lend a helping hand. We are thrilled to have her back!

Philly🗽is on cloud 9 for the remainder of 2026 because his NEW YORK KNICKS just won the championship! He is our movement time leader, the 4th - 6th grader’s favorite guy to rag on, and maybe the chillest leader you’ll ever meet. He loves the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers as well, collects jerseys, and loves his dog Juno. He is studying broadcasting/journalism with hopes of announcing a NY Knicks future championship game!😉

Kayla 📸 is a gentle and kind leader who sees everyone and always makes others feel loved and understood. She reminds me of Jesus. She just graduated from Drew University and hopes to work in media production. She takes beautiful photos, loves ice cream, and sings incredibly!! **Everyone** needs a Kayla in their life!

Sponsor a camper for one week! It costs $66. In that time, we will provide that child with 8 meals, 4 full days of classes, and a safe space to learn and grow this summer.
