Hands Up Silent Theatre is getting ready for another HUGE season, and we are looking for performers who are ready to jump in, learn, grow, laugh way too much, make lifelong friends, and create some seriously unforgettable theatre.

At Hands Up, our performers learn American Sign Language, acting, music, movement, teamwork, confidence, and how powerful theatre can be when communication is truly inclusive.

🎭✨ Introducing Little Hands Up! ✨🤟

We are SO excited to officially open registration for our Little Hands Up program!

This program is designed especially for our youngest performers to learn, play, create, and discover the beauty of American Sign Language in a fun, welcoming environment.

📅 Classes Begin: Sunday, October 4
🕐 When: Sundays from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM
📍 Location: The Park at RIL (formerly Cumberland County Technical School)
601 Bridgeton Ave.
Bridgeton (Deerfield Township), NJ

What your child will experience:

🎵 Weekly ASL lessons with our experienced staff and student mentors, many of whom have been part of Hands Up Silent Theatre for over seven plus years!

🎨 ASL-themed arts and crafts.

📚 Interactive ASL storytime.

🎶 Fun songs in ASL, including familiar nursery rhymes and children's favorites.

🌟 A chance to learn part of a song that they'll perform alongside our Hands Up Silent Theatre performers during Disney's The Lion King Jr. on June 4 at the beautiful Levoy Theatre in Millville, NJ!

🎉 Their very own Little Hands Up Spring Showcase for family and friends.

🥳 Parties, games, friendships, and lots of fun all year long!

This show is in both American Sign Language and English, making our production accessible for both hearing and deaf audience members! We are building a stage where ASL, accessibility, and artistry stand side by side, and every actor gets to shine in the spotlight they deserve.
