PRIDE Millvale is Saturday, June 20 and there is still time to get involved to support the event!

Consider volunteering your time day-of and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for people looking to celebrate their identities within the LGBTQIA+ community (though volunteers do not have to be members of the community themselves).

To learn more, visit: https://www.pridemillvale.org/volunteer

*Volunteer opportunities can easily be tailored to individual accessibility needs (ex: needing to sit, access to shade, longer/shorter shifts, written instructions, working with a partner, etc).

Thanks to a $97,000 grant from Green Mountain Energy Company Sun Club, the Millvale Community Development Corporation, New Sun Rising and Triboro Ecodistrict celebrated the brand-new rooftop solar energy system at 216 North Avenue on Wednesday, May 13.

Generating an estimated 46.3 mWh annually and backed by a 10-year solar performance plan, the MCDC estimates the system will save the organization $120,000 over its lifetime.

As well as the solar system, the grant also supports the future installation of a Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charger.

Thank you to GME Sun Club, and to Energy Independent Solutions, for their continued support on this project!
