Congratulations to our Reader's Theater Winner, Amy Hendricks. who received 2 tickets to Second Street Players show, Rumors, for her participation in our group activity. The next group activity begins November 23rd. Make sure to attend to see if you could be a potential future winner. Thank you to John Hulse for leading the group, and to Second Street Players for partnering with us in this creative activity.

DID YOU KNOW???

Milford Senior Center travels as far as Lancaster, PA to go to the Sight & Sound Theater for our day trips. This includes a stop for lunch at Hershey Buffet, a modern farmhouse-style buffet restaurant featuring a wide-ranging smorgasbord and made-to-order grill station. We will be going to see Jonah on March 24th, 2027, and still have some seats remaining. If interested, call (302) 422-3385 or stop at the main office during business hours to reserve your seat.

The Thrive event is open and we have 25 vendors set up and ready to answer your questions. Join us 9:30am for Drums Alive with Lyndsie, 10:30am for Chair Zumba, and 11:30am for prize Bingo.

Milford Senior Center will be hosting a special event this month, Thrive: Senior Life After 55. This event will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 9:00am - 12:00pm, featuring 26 vendors with information exhibits, scheduled activities, giveaways, and more!

Milford Senior Center will be closed for all other activities, but members are encouraged to attend. For more information, call (302) 422-3385.

Thank you to Milford Advocacy for the Homeless for their donation of 30 recipe kits to our members. Each kit contains a recipe, the ingredients to prepare the recipe, and necessary cooking utensils. Your generosity to our seniors is greatly appreciated!

I had the pleasure of a visit from Commissioner Robert Scott from Kent County Levy Court yesterday, to present us with a check for our Feeding Our Seniors program. This generous donation will help in our mission to help with food insecurities in our community.
