A little something to carry you through the weekend.

Today’s Power Paks are available to-go at Brandywine Drop-In Center on Masten Circle in Milford.

A sandwich. A snack. Sometimes fruit.
Simple food. Meaningful care.

WHAT IF YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD COULD CHANGE SOMEONE'S SUNDAY EVENING?

Sometimes, making a difference doesn't require a big organization, a huge budget, or hundreds of volunteers. Sometimes, it starts with a few people who are willing to come together.

Milford Advocacy for the Homeless, Inc. (MAH) is looking for neighborhood HOAs, local businesses, civic organizations, women's and men's ministries, or even a couple of friends willing to prepare or heat and serve dinner to our neighbors on Sunday evenings during the fourth and fifth weeks of the month, as needed.

Imagine gathering your group, sharing the work, serving a meal, and helping make sure our neighbors have a warm dinner and a welcoming place at the table.

You don't have to do it alone. Could your group be part of this?

Send MAH a direct message to learn more. Please share this post with a neighborhood, business, ministry, or group of friends who might be interested.

Friday is better when you don’t have to eat alone.

Come join us for Community Dinner and end the week around a table filled with good food and good people.

Bring your family. Bring a friend. Or simply bring yourself.

No judgment. No explanations. Just a meal, a welcome, and a place to belong.

A LITTLE REMINDER WITH A LOT OF HEART.

Our Thanksgiving turkey drive is underway, and we still need our community's help.
MAH and our partners at House of David are working toward a shared goal: helping make the Thanksgiving Day Feast a reality for our neighbors.

If donating a turkey is something you can do, we would be grateful. If you cannot donate, sharing this post may help us reach someone who can.
Not everyone has extra to give. But everyone can help spread a little hope.

Let's keep the kindness moving. Turkey donations are needed for the Thanksgiving Day Feast. Message MAH for drop-off details.

Hope lives here.

Technology is new. Neighbors helping neighbors is not.
MAH is trying something new at our evening dinners: using tablets to help with attendance sign-in.

We're looking for a patient, tech-savvy volunteer to join us from 5 to 6 PM, five evenings a week, to help our neighbors sign in and teach our dinner volunteers how to use the tablets. It's a temporary role, just until our team feels comfortable doing it on their own.

One hour. A little know-how. A whole lot of heart.
Think you could help? Send MAH a message.

Hope lives here.

Come As You Are...

You don’t have to have it all together to come to dinner.

Dinner is better when it’s shared.

Do you have a little tech know-how and an hour to share?

At MAH, it's always been about neighbors helping neighbors. Sometimes that means sharing a meal. Sometimes it means lending a hand. And sometimes, it means helping someone learn something new.

We're experimenting with tablets to make checking in for dinner attendance a little easier for our neighbors and our volunteers.

Here's where you might come in.
We're looking for a temporary volunteer to join our dinner team for one hour, from 5 to 6 PM, five evenings a week. You'll be our extra set of hands, helping neighbors sign in on the tablet and showing our volunteers how to use the technology with confidence.

You don't have to change the world in an hour. You just have to be willing to share what you know. As our volunteers become comfortable using the tablets, this extra helping hand will no longer be needed. Until then, your patience, encouragement, and willingness to teach could make all the difference.

You bring the tech skills. We'll bring the heart.
Could you be the neighbor we're looking for?

Send us a message to learn more about this temporary volunteer opportunity with Milford Advocacy for the Homeless, Inc. Because at MAH, hope lives here, and there's always room for one more person who cares.
