Step Forward Center

Today, we welcomed KeyBank employees from the Bangor area as part of their 35th annual Neighbors Make a Difference Day to the Step Forward Center to clean up the front of our space just in time for summer. The kids had such a blast getting involved with planting, spreading mulch, and weeding!!

We couldn't do what we do without volunteers who help us with these kind of efforts. Thank you to CSP board member, Zack Haynes, for organizing this effort (pictured with Connor)! 💚

🌟 Meet Alan Smith, newest Program Advisory Panel member🌟

Alan is the Assistant Principal and Special Education Director of the Milford School Department / Dr. Lewis Libby School. He has an amazing fiance and three beautiful children. He has a Masters Degree in Special Education through the University of Maine, and has been in public education for almost 16 years both teaching and in an administrative role. Through his position, he has had the opportunity to connect with the Courageous Steps in many facets.

Connor and the team have supported the program as we have both worked to support the children of Milford through collaboration and supportive transitions. He says he is looking forward to working with this team to continue to support at an advisory level.

Happy 2 Year Anniversary to our Director of Home & Community Services, Sarah Sinclair -- it's amazing how time flies by!! 💚

Sarah has been instrumental in building, growing, and leading our Home & Community program which has become a cornerstone program for our organization, expanding services and options to support more children and families across the region. We could not be more thankful for her continued hard work and commitment to our mission and vision.
