Today, we got to pack boxes of school supplies for 29 schools in Penobscot and Hancock counties in partnership with Bangor Federal. Huge thank you to Barbara, Jessica, Connor, and Lisa for getting everything sorted this morning!

Schools (and students) from Greenbush to Surry will benefit from the generosity and support of so many in our region. The boxes are quite full!

This year, marks 13 years of our annual back-to-school campaign. What started off with just 5 schools has now expanded to serve nearly 3 dozen schools, to impact thousands of children across our region.

We had 4 dozen collection sites / partners across the region. We are truly amazed by the level of generosity and support, so much so, we were able to add a few schools last minute.

Supplies will be delivered throughout the remainder of the week. We also have many other partners who will be delivering supplies in Corinth, Milo, and Newport in the coming week, all new communities that we've never had represented before.

We'll share more as we do deliveries but wanted our community to see what the power of your impact has had!! 💚💚

Are you looking for support for your child with special needs? Courageous Steps and our Step Forward Center are here to help, particularly in our Early Childhood program.💚

Courageous Steps is a licensed MaineCare Section 28 provider and works with local schools and Child Development Services (CDS) to deliver services at no cost.

We are able to support children ages 2 to 5 years old with:

• Speech & Language Development
• Social Emotional Skills
• Behavioral Support
• Learning & Academic Readiness
• Play Skills
• Physical & Motor Development
• Daily Living & Self Help Skills

We are pleased to announce that Camden National Bank has been collecting supplies for our 13th annual Back-To-School program. They have collected supplies at fifteen (that's right, 15) locations in Eastern and Downeast Maine. We could not be more grateful for their support and generosity in supporting our local children/students.

In total, we've had nearly 4 dozen (48) collection sites across the region, making this one of the largest regional back-to-school efforts in Maine.

There is still time to donate supplies at one of our many locations across the region. If you need help finding a location, please message us. 💙💚🎒🏫

Summer at the Step Forward Center has FLOWN by. We can't believe tomorrow is the last day of our summer session. It's been a hot summer, but one full of smiles and memories created! ☀️😎

As always, we want to thank our families for your trust in us as we aim to create an environment and space where all children grow, thrive, and succeed together. Summer is nice because we are able to welcome new and familiar faces back.

For the children and families heading back to school, or moving on, thank you for sharing your kids with us. It means the world that we got to serve you!
