This "Happy Dance" is shared by Trinity and Preemption UMC after many months of searching, purchasing and preparing parsonage for our Pastor Angel Rosales & Family we are at the announcement of the Open House. The address is 2694 171st Ave Sherrard, though it is only a few minutes from Preemption UMC. The celebration will be THIS THURSDAY from 6:30pm-7:30pm with a Prayer/Anointing of the Parsonage at 7:00pm. Everyone is invited to browse the new Parsonage!

Tomorrow we say Good Bye to Robert Lee, Jr., 81, of Milan, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2026 at MercyOne Genesis, Silvis.
Bob’s visitation will be 10:00 – 11:00 a.m., July 24, 2026 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Kewanee, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Milan Lions Scholarship Fund.
Robert was born May 12.,1945 in Kewanee, IL, the son of Robert and Betty (Schwigen) Lee, Sr. He married Barbara Fronk on July 26, 1964 in Annawan, IL.
Robert worked for John Deere for 37 years retiring in 2000 from John Deere Research and Development Center, Silvis.
Robert was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Milan, Milan Lion’s Club and the Rock Island Bowling Association. He was an avid bowler and golfer.
Robert enjoyed boating and waterskiing with his children and grandchildren. He was a proud Chicago Bears and Alabama Crimson Tide fan.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara; sons, Curt (Roz) Lee, Milan, Robert (Pam) Lee, III., Milan; daughter-in-law, Crystal Lee, Milan; 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren and sisters, Bonnie Cowan, Hartselle, AL, Karen Murray, Decatur, AL, Vicki (Gary) Maupin, Wyanet, IL and Rose Nelson, Wyanet, IL. He was preceded in death by his son, John Lee and brothers, Jimmie, Ronnie, Clarence and Teddy Joe Lee.
