Congratulations to Drenden Bowman on being slated as the new District 16 Reporter for the 2026-2027 school year. He will be officially voted in at state FFA convention in June.

Our annual plant sale will be this weekend. Friday 3pm-6pm and Saturday 9am-12pm.

Plants will be first come first serve. We have vegetables, herbs and house plants.

The Milan FFA held our annual awards banquet last night!

We recognized members for all their accomplishments this year, celebrated our senior members, and welcomed our new members as they received their FFA jackets from our senior members. We also installed our new officer team for next school year.

Thank you to all the parents, administrators, and community members who came out to support and celebrate with us. It was a great night, and we enjoyed getting together and wrapping up an awesome year!

Congratulations to Drenden on submitting his proficiency application at the state level! Drenden placed 2nd in the state with his Agriscience Research Animal Systems SAE. This 20 page application is a huge challenge for members and gives them a way to show their outstanding SAEs! Congratulations!

4 members competed at the District Leadership Contest this morning at North Decatur High School. Here are our results for today:

🥇1st place Food Science Demonstration- Karina Hoffmann (eligible to compete at state in June)
🥇 1st place Agriscience Proficiency- Drenden Bowman
🥈2nd place Small Animal Production Proficiency

💙💛 Happy FFA Week! 💛💙
We had an incredible week celebrating the National FFA Organization, filled with leadership, service, and fun!
🌟 Monday: We kicked things off with a visit from State FFA Secretary Lauren Argotte, who led our ag classes in a great workshop focused on teamwork and collaboration. Chapter officers Drenden and Karina also presented our yearly chapter update to the Ripley County Farm Bureau Board.
🥞 Tuesday: Members got up bright and early to cook breakfast for our amazing teachers and staff as a thank-you for all they do!
🚜 Wednesday: Drive Your Tractor to School Day.
🐷Friday: Ms. Taylor and Mrs. Wilhelm “kissed the critter” after students voted all week long!
A huge thank you to our staff, students, and community for all the support throughout the week. 💛�Thanks for another great FFA Week! ✨

Congratulations to Drenden Bowman and Sophie Riehle!They both completed a proficiency application based on their Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE) areas. Both placed at the district level. Drenden brought home 1st place and Sophie brought home 2nd place! Drenden's application is eligible to be sent to the state contest in March.

The Milan FFA Middle and High school Crops teams competed at the Area level contest, and we are proud to share their awesome results.

Junior team- 2nd place overall
This team has earned a spot at the state contest on December 13th!

Senior team- 8th place overall

Brayden McAdams- 7th place overall
Easton McKittrick- 8th place overall
