We are hoping that you have a fun, sunny, memorable Easter. 🐣🌷 April is the time to spring into action. It’s time to get yourself and your horse ready for a new season of riding.
🗓️ Mark your calendars for this exciting upcoming event! Quad City All Breed Horse Association will be sponsorship the Cowgirl Queen class at the June 13th show hosted by Black Spur Equestrian at the Clinton County fair grounds in DeWitt,
Iowa. Everyone is welcome to participate. The highest placing, Iowa resident in the senior and junior division are eligible to represent QCABHA at the Iowa State Fair.🎡
According to our 2025 representative, it was a blast! So, start practicing the salute. 🤠 More details will be coming!

From substantial snows to record highs, it's time to ride the spring roller coaster! 🎢
With grass barely grown and muddy pastures, the curry brush is permanently fixed to some of our hands. So much hair! (Pro tip- DON'T put on chapstick BEFORE curry combing! 🤣)
Hope you get to get outside and enjoy some of this nice weather with your equine friend! 🐎☀️

March is the time to look forward what the new season will bring. It’s time to groom those horses, plan for the show season and looking forward to spending time with your horse friends. 🐴
This saying from Doug Larson captures a horse owner’s outlook on spring. “ Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush.”
How many of us have experienced the sensation of having your boot sucked off by mud just as you were catching your horse? 🥾
