Care from the heart to meet the unique needs of patients and families. Hospice of Midland has provided compassionate care to thousands of patients and families.

The vision of a few members of this community met with a tremendous amount of hard work, cooperation, and love for one’s fellow man. Our continuing commitment is to build on the needs of our patients with a life-limiting illness. Hospice of Midland provides a true community of care for patients and their families as the only non-profit community-owned hospice in the Permian Basin. Hospice of Midland's care follows the patient in the home, hospital, nursing home, assisted living facility or anywhere the patient calls home with patient services available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. When medicine cannot provide a cure, Hospice of Midland can diminish suffering and offer care and assistance that helps maintain a better quality of life for the patient. Our services involve treatment of physical and emotional pain and symptoms focusing on improving the patient’s comfort and quality of life. Our philosophy is that as life nears its end, every individual has the right to spend his or her remaining days in peace and with dignity. We focus specifically on comfort, dignity and pain control as we respond to the symptoms, needs and goals of the patients and their families. Hospice of Midland is accredited by CHAP (Community Health Accreditation Program) and is a member of NHPCO (National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization), TNMHO (Texas & New Mexico Hospice Organization) and the Texas Non-Profit Hospice Alliance.

💙 Sometimes the greatest blessings come when we least expect them! 💙

Life has a beautiful way of reminding us that kindness is all around us, often showing up in the most unexpected places and through the most wonderful people.

Our Volunteer Coordinator, Sandy Sandate, was out shopping for supplies and materials for upcoming Hospice of Midland volunteer events and activities when something truly special happened.

Alicia and Ronnie James happened to see Sandy and asked what she was shopping for. When Sandy explained that she was gathering supplies for our hospice volunteers, Alicia and Ronnie didn't hesitate. They offered to pay for everything so our volunteers would have what they needed to continue bringing joy, comfort, and meaningful moments to our patients and families. ❤️

What started as an ordinary shopping trip turned into an extraordinary reminder of the goodness in people's hearts.

Alicia and Ronnie, THANK YOU! Your generosity, thoughtfulness, and unexpected act of kindness touched our hearts more than you know.

At Hospice of Midland, we are continually reminded that blessings come in many forms. Sometimes it's a warm smile, a helping hand, or two wonderful people who simply want to make a difference.

And the beautiful thing about kindness? One generous act can touch more lives than we may ever realize.

🩷 Midland was PINK—and Hospice of Midland was proud to be part of it! 🩷

We had a wonderful time participating in Pink in the Park and joining our community in showing love and support for those whose lives have been touched by breast cancer.

Today, we celebrate the survivors. We encourage those still fighting. We remember those we have lost. And we stand beside the families, friends, caregivers, and healthcare professionals who walk alongside them. 🎀

A very special thank you to Dina Borrego, Yolanda Carnett, Gloria Martinez, and Cheryl Fuentes for representing Hospice of Midland and giving their time to make this event so special. Your willingness to show up and serve is what community is all about! 💗

🍭🍫 Oompa Loompa, doopity-doo… Hospice of Odessa had some candy fun with you! 🍫🍭

We stepped into a world of sweet treats, colorful fun, and laughs at the Oompa Loompa Candy Party at Madison Medical Resort! And thankfully, no one fell into the chocolate river.

A HUGE thank you to Saray for inviting Hospice of Odessa to join the festivities. We always love spending time with the residents—and when candy is involved, you really don’t have to ask us twice! 🍬😄

Another sweet day of making memories, sharing smiles, and connecting with our community.

Now the only question is…who found the Golden Ticket? 🎫✨

🎉 B-I-N-G-O! And they definitely know how to do it right at Courtyards Senior Living! 🎉

David and K’Sandra know how to turn a game of Bingo into a PARTY! Between the friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and everyone hoping to hear that magic word—BINGO!—we had an absolute blast. 😄

A huge thank you to David and K’Sandra for inviting Hospice of Odessa to join in the fun. We love spending time with residents, making new friends, sharing some laughs, and being part of these special moments in our community. ❤️

We’re already practicing our lucky numbers for the next round! 😂

🔥🍖 Apparently, everyone got the memo that BBQ was on the menu! 😄

What a turnout at the BBQ Potluck at Magnolia Senior Living! The place was packed with great people, plenty of food, and even better company. Nothing brings a crowd together quite like good BBQ!

Our own Oscar Jimenez and Hospice of Odessa volunteer Velma Jimenez jumped right in to help out—and, judging by the crowd, there was plenty to keep them busy!

A huge thank you to Rosie Lujan for inviting Hospice of Odessa to be part of the fun. We love opportunities like this to spend time with residents, families, staff, and friends in our community.

Great food + great people + a packed house = one fantastic afternoon! ❤️

🍂🎃 A little rain wasn't going to stop this Fall Festival! 🌧️😄

Everything was set up outside and ready to go at Magnolia Senior Living when Mother Nature decided she wanted to join the party! A sudden rainstorm meant everyone had to pivot, move the fun indoors, and keep the celebration going. And that's exactly what we did!

Hospice of Odessa had a wonderful time participating in the Fall Festival hosted by Express Nursing. Rain or shine, there's always time for some fall fun, good conversation, and plenty of laughs! 🍁

A big thank you to Paul with Express Nursing for inviting Hospice of Odessa to participate again this year. We always appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community and spend time with such wonderful people.

Because sometimes the best memories happen when things don't go exactly as planned! ❤️🍂

We managed to snap a photo of our own Oscar Jimenez hard at work setting up for the Echoes of Hope Gala at Madison Medical Resort!

Unfortunately, we didn’t get any pictures once the celebration got underway…which probably means Oscar was too busy having fun! 😂📸
