💙 A Little Rescue Story with a Big Heart 🐾
Yesterday, at 2:30pm, we received a text from Jessica that said:
"I found two tiny kittens today on my car tire when I went to leave for work and I'm looking for some place to safely take them."
She followed with:
"I have called approximately 15 other places within Bay City, Saginaw and Midland and no one is able to assist."
That is determination right there. 💙
Jessica had been referred to us by another rescue, and she didn’t give up—she safely contained the kittens and kept searching until someone said yes.
At 4:30, I picked them up.
And by 6:00, these two little ones were safe, fed, and settling into a comfortable place. 🐾
But this story doesn’t end there…
Jessica and her neighbor spent over 45 minutes working together to carefully rescue the kittens from the tire. When I arrived, they didn’t just hand them over—they sent them off with food and a generous $200 donation to support their care. 💕
This is what teamwork looks like:
✨ Determined good Samaritans
✨ Compassionate neighbors
✨ And a rescue ready to step in
Together, we turned a stressful situation into a happy ending—for two tiny lives.
Kitten season is here, and there are so many more who need this same chance. 🐾
