Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer

Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer Infinite Love is a 100% volunteer-run 501c3 foundation.
(205)

We raise money year-round to fund innovative new pediatric cancer research ($2.3 million+ so far!) and to provide financial and emotional support to childhood cancer fighters and their families. Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer is a volunteer run 501(c)(3) foundation who focuses on providing financial grants to our countryโ€™s leading research hospitals and facilities, some of which include Me

morial Sloan Kettering, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Yale University, the Childrenโ€™s Hospital of Philadelphia and many more (visit our website for a full list). And with over a dozen various forms of childhood cancer (and hundreds of subtypes), Infinite Love focuses their fundraising efforts on a different form of childhood cancer every year since no two pediatric cancers are the same. Since fundraising efforts began in the spring of 2013, Infinite Love has already fulfilled over 1.3 MILLION dollars in research grants! In addition to research, over the years Infinite Love has also been able to help the very families affected by childhood cancer. When a new family is introduced to our foundation, we do everything in our power to help them throughout their child's entire fight, no matter how long it takes. From paying bills, to creating a dream treehouse, to sending a super sibling and his friends to a VIP sports event, or even just to support parents emotionally, Infinite Love will do everything in our power to help these families to include collaborating with other foundations when the need is beyond our capabilities. We strive to everyday in the best way that we can, and to comfort our childhood cancer families letting them know that no one fights alone!

For five years, Lauren Moore and Samantha Cutler have poured hundreds upon hundreds of hours into creating something truly beautiful in Lucaโ€™s memory.

Planning an event of this size takes an enormous amount of time, energy, and heart. Lauren and Sam, along with their incredible team, have continued showing up year after year because they love Luca, Michele, Frank, and the entire Iacono family. Their goal from the very beginning was to continue the Love for Luca 5K until the year Luca would have graduated from Middletown High School North. This upcoming school year would have been his senior year, which means September 20th will mark the 5th and final race.

Infinite Love feels incredibly honored that the Iaconos, Lauren, Sam, and their team have chosen to make our organization the beneficiary of this event year after year. Their generosity has helped us continue funding critical childhood cancer research for rhabdomyosarcoma while also helping us to support families facing childhood cancer financially and emotionally.

Please help us thank them by showing up in a BIG way for this final event. Join us Sunday, September 20th at Middletown High School North. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Kids Fun Run at 10:00 a.m.

๐ŸŽ—๏ธ Today marks the first day of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. Throughout September, weโ€™ll be sharing one childhood cancer fact each week because awareness begins with understanding the reality far too many families face.

In 2026 alone, an estimated 15,340 children and adolescents ages 0โ€“19 will be diagnosed with cancer in the United States. That is 15,340 young lives interrupted and 15,340 families whose worlds will change in an instant.

At Infinite Love, we believe awareness must lead to action. It must lead to more funding, better treatments and continued support for children and families throughout every part of this fight. Please help us begin this important month by sharing this post and helping more people understand why childhood cancer deserves our attention all year long. ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿฉท

๐Ÿ’™Luca Iacono was bright, loving, witty, and completely passionate about his family, friends, and sports. A talented multi-sport athlete, who especially loved football and dreamed of one day becoming a running back for his beloved New York Giants.

When Luca was in third grade, he was diagnosed with alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Yet even throughout treatment, Luca continued to meet life with extraordinary strength and grace. He kept finding joy in the people he loved and on every sports field he could get to. The world heartbreakingly lost Luca in November 2019, but the way he lived continues to inspire everyone fortunate enough to know his story. As his parents, Michele and Frank, so beautifully shared, Luca taught those around him โ€œnot to waste a single moment, to always smile, be happy, and that life was a gift not to be wasted.โ€๐Ÿ’™

On Sunday, September 20th, the Middletown community will honor that remarkable spirit through an athletic event Luca would have absolutely loved. Please join us at Middletown High School North for the fifth and final Love for Luca 5K. The 5K Run/Walk begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Kids Fun Run at 10:00 a.m., with all proceeds benefiting Infinite Love. THANK YOU to Lauren Moore and Samantha Cutler for creating and organizing this beautiful race!

There are some events that live especially close to our hearts, and the Love for Luca 5K has always been one of them. ๐Ÿ’›

On Sunday, September 20th, weโ€™ll come together at Middletown High School North for the fifth and final Love for Luca 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. From the very beginning, Race Directors Lauren Moore and Samantha Cutler planned to hold this beautiful event each year until the year Luca would have graduated from High School North. This upcoming school year would have been his senior year, making this final race an incredibly meaningful one for everyone who knew and loved him.

The timed 5K begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by the Kids Fun Run at 10:00 a.m. Whether you run, walk, bring your children, or simply come to surround this family with love, we hope youโ€™ll join us. Letโ€™s show Lucaโ€™s parents, Michele and Frank, his entire family, and the remarkable Love for Luca community just how many people remain beside them. Letโ€™s make this final Love for Luca 5K the largest one yet.

๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ™Œ ๐Ÿ™Œ Another $25,000 invested in AML Research thanks to two VERY special families!

Last November, Infinite Love for Kids Fighting Cancer had the incredible honor of presenting a $100,000 research grant to Dr. Kathrin Bernt at CHOP and Dr. Kathy Fange Liu at UPENN to support their collaborative groundbreaking work developing new treatments for children with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). At the same time, we made a commitment that this wouldn't be a one-time investment. We launched a dedicated fundraising page with the goal of continuing to support this project in $25,000 increments, knowing that meaningful progress in childhood cancer research only happens when we keep showing up.

Yesterday, we, along with the Hynes family, were beyond proud to present the first additional $25,000 check, and this one belongs to an incredible community!

As most of you already know, Fallon Hynes and Rachel Simon have both faced unimaginable battles with AML. Fallon was diagnosed as an infant and bravely fought through five rounds of chemotherapy before ringing the bell, while Rachel endured chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant, and months of setbacks before finally returning to school healthy, smiling, and feeling like herself again. After the New Year, these two amazing families decided that although treatment was behind them, their fight wasn't over. They wanted to help change the future for the children who will be diagnosed tomorrow.

What happened next was nothing short of amazing.

The Hynes and Simon families, along with their friends, neighbors, schools, local businesses, and entire communities, rallied around this research project in the most incredible way. They shared the mission, organized fundraisers, inspired others to give, and even hosted an unforgettable lemonade stand that raised more than $7,000 in a single day. In just a few short months, they helped raise the entire $25,000, and then some, needed for this next research investment.

This is exactly why we believe so deeply in the power of community. When families who have already endured so much choose to keep fighting, not just for their own children but for children they've never met, incredible things happen. Thousands of individual acts of kindness become something so much bigger than any one person. They become hope. They become progress. They become the reason researchers can continue searching for better, safer, more effective treatments.

Dr. Kathrin Bernt recently said it perfectly: "Kindhearted families that are passionate about children fund much of the progress that is being made." Because of every person who donated, shared a post, attended an event, bought a glass of lemonade, or simply believed in this mission, this important work continues.

Today we're celebrating this milestone, but we're also looking ahead. Now that we've proudly delivered this $25,000 check, it's time to begin again. If you'd like to help us reach the next $25,000 milestone and continue funding this groundbreaking AML research, please consider making a donation using the link below. Every dollar brings us one step closer to better treatments, more survivors, and the day when no family has to hear the words, "Your child has cancer."

Meet the Campbell Family. Three-year-old Hannah, her sister Makensie (11), mom Jordan, and dad Justin are the kind of family who finds joy in the little things. Whether they're swimming, hiking, exploring nature, attending community events, or simply singing and dancing around the house, they cherish every moment they get to spend together. But behind those smiles is a family that has endured more heartbreak than anyone should have to.

In 2021, Jordan and Justin experienced the devastating loss of their son, Isaiah, just shy of 23 weeks into pregnancy. Then, on the two-year anniversary of Isaiah's passing, their world was turned upside down once again when Hannah was diagnosed with Wilms' tumor. After months of chemotherapy, they finally began to hope they could close this chapter. Sadly, that hope was short-lived. In December of 2025, doctors discovered a new tumor. Because of Hannah's WT1 gene mutation, it is considered a new growth rather than a relapse, but for Hannah and her family, it meant facing childhood cancer all over again.

By July 15, 2026, Hannah will have completed a combined 38 weeks of chemotherapy and 6 rounds of radiation, with years of follow-up appointments still ahead. Along the way, Jordan has only been able to work sporadically while caring for Hannah, the family makes a four-hour round trip for every treatment, and the financial strain has become overwhelming. Between costly medications, mounting medical bills, and expenses that insurance simply doesn't cover, the burden continues to grow.

The Campbell family's journey is far from over, and they need our community now more than ever. If you're able, please consider making a donation and sharing Hannah's fundraising page. Together, let's show the Campbells what we've shown so many other families...that no one fights alone.

๐Ÿ‹ Remember that incredible lemonade stand we posted about a few weeks ago? Well... we have the total, and WOW! ๐Ÿคฏ

Thanks to the enormous generosity of their communities, Fallon and Rachel's lemonade stand raised an incredible $7,328 for Infinite Love! ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to the Hynes and Simon families for pouring so much love, time, and hard work into making this day such a tremendous success. And thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, shared the event, or supported these girls from afar. Every single act of kindness made a difference.

What makes this so special is that these two beautiful families chose to celebrate their children's health by giving back to the kiddos who are still fighting. That's the kind of hearts the Hynes and Simon families have, and we couldn't be more proud of them, and grateful for all of their love. ๐Ÿ’›

And the best part? Their story isn't over yet...

In about a week, we'll be sharing a very exciting announcement involving these two amazing families. So stay tuned! ๐Ÿ‘€โœจ
