Yesterday, we had the privilege of celebrating Dan Hulse who is retiring from the Board of Directors of Access: Supports for Living after an incredible 42 years of dedicated service.
Throughout more than four decades, Dan has been a steady and trusted voice in our organization’s leadership, including serving as Board Chair. Perhaps nowhere has his passion and commitment been more evident than in his steadfast leadership and advocacy for Access Business Solutions, which has created meaningful employment opportunities for thousands of people with disabilities.
Dan has long understood that employment is about far more than a paycheck. It’s about independence, dignity, opportunity, and belonging. His leadership has helped make those possibilities a reality for so many.
We also owe a special debt of gratitude to Dan’s family, who have so generously shared his time, talents, and commitment with us for more than four decades. That kind of dedication is only possible with the support of those closest to him.
While Dan is stepping away from active Board service, we are delighted that he will continue to be part of the Access family in Emeritus status. His wisdom, institutional knowledge, and unwavering belief in our mission will always be valued.
Thank you, Dan, for 42 remarkable years of leadership, friendship, and service. Your legacy will continue through the thousands of lives you’ve helped change and the organization you’ve helped build.
