For almost 50 years, WMCA members have gathered for our annual Brewers Tailgate — and this year was no exception!

With the Brewers making their push toward the postseason, we thought it was the perfect time to revisit a great day at the ballpark.

When diesel prices rise, the cost of moving everything in Wisconsin rises with them.

WMCA President Dan Johnson recently spoke with PBS Wisconsin’s Here & Now about high diesel prices and the impact they have on Wisconsin’s trucking industry and the cost of shipping goods.

Fuel is one of the largest expenses for motor carriers, and those costs ultimately affect the entire supply chain—and consumers.

We appreciate PBS Wisconsin for the opportunity to share the trucking industry’s perspective.

🚛💙 Kicking off Truck Driver Appreciation Week with our “Thank a Trucker” event! 💙🚛

We were proud to show our appreciation by handing out $10 Kwik Trip gift cards to truck drivers at both Kenosha and Richfield locations. Together, we were able to hand out 400 gift cards! 🎉

What a convention! 🇺🇸🚛

Our 2026 WMCA Convention at Lake Lawn Resort was one for the books! From being right on the lake to an incredible drone show, great conversations, and plenty of time to connect with friends and colleagues across the industry — we packed a lot into two unforgettable days.

A huge congratulations to Pam Jones, our newest Haul of Fame inductee! 🏆 We are honored to celebrate her contributions and impact on Wisconsin’s trucking industry.

We’re also incredibly grateful for our outstanding lineup of speakers, our wonderful vendors and sponsors, and especially the volunteers who helped make everything come together behind the scenes. And, of course, thank you to everyone who joined us — your support and participation are what make this event so special.

From the golf course and boat tour to the vendor reception, Chairman’s Dinner, Haul of Fame, and drone show, we hope you left with great memories, new connections, and plenty to take back to your teams.

🚛 Truck Driver Appreciation Week is here! 🇺🇸

This week, the Wisconsin Motor Carriers Association is recognizing the men and women who keep Wisconsin—and our nation—moving.

On Monday morning, our team will be showing our appreciation in person at two Kwik Trip locations in Kenosha and Richfield, Wisconsin.

We’ll greet drivers, thank them for what they do, and offer each a $10 Kwik Trip gift card as a small token of our appreciation.

To every truck driver out there: Thank you for your hard work, your dedication, and the sacrifices you make to keep America moving.
