The Children's Home recently celebrated the dedication and ribbon-cutting of our second and third Thrive Independent Living duplexes. We were honored to have a full house for the event, including elected state and county representatives.
Gassaway Apartments is named in the memory of Rose Gassaway, by her family. Hinnant Apartments is named in the memory of C.B. and Marganette Hinnant, by their family.
These duplexes will be home to young adults in our Thrive Independent Living program. This program focuses on young people aging out of the foster care system, and walks alongside them as they make the transition into independent adulthood.
We are grateful to all our supporters who helped make this dream a reality.

Please use Children's Home Road to access the campus. Buck Deans Rd from Hwy 231 to campus will close at 8:45am in preparation for the race. Be sure to allow yourself time to park and check in at Heritage Hall before the race starts promptly at 9:00am.
