🌈 Until We Meet Again, Sweet Bucky 🌈
Bucky was an 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel with a soft golden coat and soulful eyes who looked just like a miniature Golden Retriever. 💛 But beneath that beautiful face was a heart full of love, and a story that reminds us just how deeply dogs love their people.
Bucky came to Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue after his beloved owner passed away. Sadly, none of her five children were able to take him in, and through no fault of his own, Bucky had to say goodbye to the only life and person he had ever known. 💔
At Rainbow Bridge Hospice Rescue, we did our best to give Bucky the love, comfort, and dignity he deserved. And last week, when it was time for him to cross the Rainbow Bridge, David and Terri were right there beside him, making sure he was not alone. There is something both heartbreaking and beautiful about saying goodbye to a dog like Bucky.🌈 Somewhere beyond the Rainbow Bridge, we picture Bucky running freely into the arms of the person he had been missing — his beloved mom. No more goodbyes. No more separation. Just the joy of being together again.
Run free, sweet Bucky. You were loved here, you will be missed here, and you will never be forgotten. We hope your heart is finally home. 🐾💛
