Hopewell Hopewell is a therapeutic farm community for adults with mental illness located in Mesopotamia, Ohio.

In addition to work crews, residents work with their clinical manager to select from a wide range of other therapeutic and interest groups such as:

Anger management Dual diagnosis issues

Equine Assisted Psy- Music - Instruction & per-
chotherapy formance opportunities

Dialectical Behavior Independent

living skills
Therapy (shopping, cooking, etc)

Money management Creative expression

When symptoms of a mental illness start to interfere with daily life, figuring out what level of care is needed can be challenging. Two common options for treatment include residential treatment and partial hospitalization programs (PHP). Both offer meaningful support, but they serve different purposes and knowing what is right can be confusing. Common Myths about Schizophrenia debunked and how Hopewell’s clinical practices bring hope through treatment.

✅ Providing a structured environment that can reduce stressors and overstimulation that may worsen psychotic symptoms

✅ Using therapeutic support to help residents build insight, coping skills, grounding techniques, and emotional regulation.
