We ROCK! 🤭🪨

All of these rocks came from ONE post hole! The Baldwin Farm Builders have navigated so many challenges while renovating this barn for us. They are amazing and we didn't want them to have to touch these rocks again! 😅

I was so happy to have my Mom help with chores after this because my arms are J-E-L-L-O 🤣

The Forever Farm hosted a volunteer day for a local AHG Troop today! These girls worked hard cleaning paddocks, scrubbing buckets, and even washed the walls in the barn! 🧹🧽🫧

Trevor is a very curious donkey and loves to be around to see what we're up to! 🥰

He's come a very long way from being a crazy intact youngster but I still keep a close eye around him. Especially when bent over in front of a water trough 🤣

His tail swish as he walks away is probably attitude from not being able to cause mischief 🤭🤪

All of our volunteers know what the Galley rub is and today was Derek's turn!🤣

Since Galley arrived here just under six years ago, she has always shown love by rubbing her head on her favorite people. You have to brace yourself or she may tip you over! 🤭

Today was a full farm day sorting and moving a wood pile to clear the way for a special project starting tomorrow! 💕💕

Frank volunteered to make sure he was friendly before Emily and Becca went in to clean the paddock. So far he's been nice and the girls don't seem to mind him either 💕

This was oddly satisfying to do 🤭

Peppa keeps finding all of the sticky burrs and getting himself covered! 100% my least favorite w**d to deal with and I think Peppa would agree!

Fun fact: A Swiss engineer found himself and his dog covered in these after a hike and decided to copy the natural hook and loop mechanism creating Velcro!

Kong needed a scrape cleaned up and slathered with fly ointment to keep the bugs off ❤️‍🩹

Trevor had no scrape but wanted to be checked out just in case 😉🤭

Frank has been back in the barn this week on "light duty" while he is still recovering from his neck surgery. He insisted this was a light duty task and there is no telling him otherwise 🥴🤣

Baldwin Farm Builders & Woodworking LLC has been working hard on our barn renovation! It is a very old barn that we've been dreaming of fixing up since we moved here. We put a new roof on it to prevent further damage but quickly realized the project was way too big for us to handle 😅

This is not a donation funded project. My husband and I took out a big scary loan and are working a lot of extra hours to pay it off. We have several ideas floating around to use the space for extra income for our family but most importantly, The Forever Farm will be able to use the space for fundraising, workshops, and small events.

We can't wait to see it finished and get straight to decorating! The vision is a dried flower ceiling, white walls, rolling work tables, and a cozy inviting vibe for all who will use the space 🧘🏼‍♀️

You all know I love to brainstorm 😂 What would you do with a space like this?? 🤔
