SMASH SMASH is a non-profit co-op and community land trust building power for housing and climate justice!

Our mission is the creation of a multi-purpose space that will adequately address the needs of inner-city Miami residents affected by the symptoms of gentrification (slumlords, rising rents, lack of community control), and that is shaped, developed and implemented by those same residents.

LGBTQ+ BOOK DRIVE

Help Us Build the Read’N Rainbow Library!

We are collecting new and gently used books for our new Read’N Rainbow Mini Library in Miami.

We are especially looking for:

📖 Books by Black authors
🏳️‍🌈 Books by LGBTQ+ authors
🏳️‍⚧️ Transgender & gender-expansive stories
✊🏿 Black history & culture
🌈 LGBTQ+ history
🚫 Banned & challenged books
📚 Youth & young adult books
🎨 Art, poetry & cultural books

Our goal is to create a small community library where people can read, learn, discover our history, and see stories that reflect Black and LGBTQ+ lives.

DONATE A BOOK. SHARE A STORY. KEEP OUR HISTORY ACCESSIBLE.
