1c3 Nonprofit that leverages the power of Classic Rock-n-Roll Music to Drive Donations for Breast Cancer Research. As a musician inspired by her idea, Randy has enthusiastically turned BC/DC into reality – generating over $10,000 in their first music-themed charity event in late 2023 and $15,000 in 2024 - with a vision to generate $100K in annual donations by 2030 through Classic Rock Tribute Concerts. Kimberly Schmidt is the receptionist for a private law firm in Chicago and the Treasurer of BC/DC. The idea for a music-themed, breast cancer charity event named "Breast Cancer - Dollars & Coins" or BC/DC, was conceived by long time friend & fan of the classic rock band, Head First, of which Randy is a founding member. Kim is an 20-year breast cancer survivor herself. We all have loved ones who have somehow directly or indirectly been impacted by this undiscriminating disease. It's an idea she's had in mind for many years - and now we're finally bringing it to fruition as part of our official 501c3 Nonprofit.
