The 2026 Miami Open Championship/Excel Series was a huge success! It was wonderful to see the smiles and excellent competition performances. Complete results are available at miamifsc.com.

The Dr. Ana Duarte Perpetual Trophy was awarded to the Intermediate Lady winning the combined Short and Long Program.

Congratulations to this year's winner, Samantha Shoop from the Palm Beach FSC. Silver went to Lilyan Krzysiak, Panthers FSC, and Bronze to Skylar Zaglul, Panthers FSC.

Many thanks to Dr. Duarte for her many years of support of the Miami FSC.

Breaking News
Team Duarte / Pospelov competed in Germany May 20 & 22 at the 20th anniversary of the ISU Adult International Figure Skating Championships held in the beautiful mountain town of Oberstdorf , Germany

A huge congratulations to Ana and Sergei for winning 2nd Pl. for the Gold pattern dances, the Westminster Waltz and the Silver Samba.

In addition they placed second for their Gold Free Dance, where they skated to a medley from La La Land.

The results from the first "Series" competition are in and posted on the official website, basicskillsflorida.com! Next up is the second Series event at Miami Ice Arena (formerly Kendall Ice Arena). The 2026 Miami Open/Excel Series and South Florida Compete USA Series is another competition where Compete USA skaters accrue points toward a Final Point Trophy based on the events they enter!
