Join us Sunday, November 1, for a 3D Texture Art Workshop and meet and greet with Featured Artist, Namrata Sharma, from 1 - 3 PM at the Friends of Metuchen Arts Gallery, 315A Main Street, Metuchen, as part of our current exhibit, Celebrating the Colors of India.
Namrata works with oils, acrylics, mixed media, texture, and traditional Indian folk-art techniques. Her work is deeply inspired by Indian culture, women, nature, memory, and the vibrant colors and traditions of everyday life.

3D Texture Art Workshop
Discover the creative possibilities of 3D texture art in this hands-on workshop, featuring the technique the artist uses in her paintings to create raised patterns, intricate details, and beautiful dimensional effects.
Using ceramic powder mixed into a paste, participants will learn how to apply and shape the medium on canvas or a wooden board to create decorative patterns and textures. The finished 3D work can be painted with colors to enhance the design or left in its original color for a simple, elegant look.
No previous art experience is required. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as artists interested in exploring texture and dimensional techniques. Anyone can participate, experiment, and enjoy the process of turning a flat surface into a unique piece of textured art.
