Tickets for the much-anticipated Harlem Wizards game at Metuchen High School go on sale this Monday, March 11th, at 8 AM. We're tipping off a fresh season and you're invited!

Hey Metuchen families! The Metuchen Youth Basketball is back and bigger than ever. Dive into an unforgettable experience this season as we introduce new collaborations and exciting events:

NEW THIS SEASON

- MHS Basketball Program Partnership: Learn from the best! We've partnered with Metuchen High School Basketball Coaches James Cardillo & Ryan O'Toole to boost our program to the next level.
- Coach's Clinic: Our volunteer coaches will be mentored by MHS Basketball Coaches & Players.
- Social Events: Get ready for a Metuchen HS game outing and possibly even a college game visit!
- Two-Week Players Clinic: The perfect preseason prep for kids aiming for travel and rec teams.

📢 Programs:

- 1st & 2nd Graders Skills Clinics: An intro to basketball basics every week.
- Recreation Teams (Grades 3-8): A developmental journey with minimal travel and games against neighboring towns.
- Travel Teams (Grades 5-8): Elevate the game! Competitive experiences, twice a week practices, and games against surrounding towns.

🏟 Facilities: Edgar School or Campbell School.

Get ready to take your skills to the next level this summer at our Co-Ed Basketball Camp held at Metuchen High School!

📅 Week 1: July 10th-14th
📅 Week 2: July 17th-21st
⏰ 9am-12pm each day

🔥 All rising 4th graders through rising 9th graders are eligible to join. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, our camp is designed to help you improve your game and have fun!

💲 Registration is only $150 per week or $250 for two weeks, and discounts are available for families registering multiple players.

2022-23 Metuchen Youth Basketball Travel Registration closes TODAY at 8:00PM

If you haven't yet signed up - do it today! Zero cost to try out!

Tryouts begin week of Oct. 17th – players must attend at least 1 session to be considered for roster position on grade appropriate teams

-Competitive experience.
-Practices will be held twice a week, with games typically --Friday/Sat/Sun, although weeknight games are possible. T
-Teams coached by parent volunteers.
-Game information to be published once confirmed by the league.
-Games to be played against surrounding towns with the average travel time of 10-30 mins, one way.
-Home games to be played at Edgar school, predominately on -Friday nights or Sunday afternoons.
-Cost: $320 + uniform fee per player

Metuchen Youth Basketball Registration Is Open For All Boys/Girls in Grades 1st to 8th

Signup For 1st and 2nd Grade Skill Building Clinics, Recreational Teams, and Travel Teams!

Register for Travel Tryouts Before Oct. 12th

- Zero charge to tryout.
- Payment due upon earning roster position.
- Tryouts begin week of Oct. 17th. Exact team tryout dates to be released soon.
- Players must attend at least one session to be considered.

Register for Recreation Teams Before Nov 14th

- All games or practices will be held Friday/Saturdays or Sundays, times TBD.
- All coaches will be parent volunteers
- We will begin practice sessions Sunday Dec 4th, games to begin January 8th and the program will conclude by March 12th.

Register for 1st & 2nd Grade Skill Building Clinic Before Nov 21st

- Parent volunteers lead a 30/45-min skill building session designed to teach basketball fundamentals.
- Sessions will be once a week, on Sunday mornings, at Campbell School Gym. Times TBD.
