Massac Memorial Hospital is heartbroken from the sudden loss of Chad Lewis, who was not only a friend and co-worker, but one of the most devoted community members of Metropolis and Massac County.
In September 2025, Massac Memorial Hospital had the privilege of welcoming Chad to our management team, where he quickly became a strong leader for our Philanthropy and Foundation services. Since his first day, he dedicated himself to weaving his excellence, along with the services of our hospital, into the surrounding businesses and communities.
Chad was always seen with a smile, and he consistently greeted both employees and visitors with a warm welcome and a cheerful hello. His absence will be deeply felt, but the commitment and enthusiasm he brought will remain in our hearts and the corridors of the hospital forever.
Massac Memorial Hospital wishes to extend our deepest sympathy to his family, friends, and all those whose lives were affected and influenced by Chad.
