🟤 Bringing independent creator projects to life
🟤 Music production & audio design
🟤 Live community event host in PHX
🇵🇭🏳️‍🌈

My journey started in a family of artists and musicians. From a young age, I was immersed in music, starting with church and school. I sang in choirs, performed in musicals, played in cover bands, and directed worship at churches for over 20 years. My passion for music took me around the globe on missions, bringing music and support to communities in need. I’ve always loved art, especially graphic design. I started helping my dad with his ministry graphics at the age of 12 and later got into video editing and production for an independent film. This led to volunteering with other organizations and working in a print company’s design department after college. Prior to moving across the country to start medical school in 2017, I started writing my own songs, found a local recording studio to record them and released an EP. While in medical school, I continued to write music, released singles, and pursued my passion for design. In 2023, I began producing my own music and for other independent artists. Even while pursuing and completing my doctorate in naturopathic medicine, I never gave up on what makes me feel nourished and alive. Medical school taught me so much about the human body, listening, holding space, and collaborating on supportive solutions. I am grateful that from a young age and through my life experience, I was encouraged to think outside the box when it came to what I love, what I’m good at, what the world needs, and what can sustain me financially (think “Ikigai”!). Today, I blend all my skills — music, design, and a holistic approach toward living — to offer comprehensive services to bring your visions to life. Let’s create something amazing together!

Hard to believe it’s been over five months since I stepped into my role as Music Ministry Leader at Foothills Christian Church!

I realized I never actually made an official post sharing that I’m here, but today felt like the perfect day to do it (maybe it’s the changing of the seasons in AZ 🤷🏻‍♀️)

There is a running joke in many church spaces that the worship leader and drummer are rarely in sync… but today one of our drummers and I were completely on the same wavelength down to the dress code 🙌🏼

Over my 20+ years of worship director/leader experience, the seamless integration of AV and worship music has always been incredibly important to me. In this role, I’ve loved being able to focus heavily on the production and direction of the overall worship experience. I’ve never been a proponent of a single person attempting to carry everything… a deeply collaborative, team-oriented culture is where I thrive, and I’m fortunate to work alongside some of the most dedicated creatives I have ever met 🤘🏽

I am just incredibly grateful to bring my gifts and my time into a faith community that is so cool, so warm, and where there are truly no outsiders OR insiders (I could go on about this, but I will save it for my ruthie.rambles account 😅).

Come check it out - if you want a different church experience that is inclusive, progressive, wholesome, and just an all around fun time (like seriously, I laugh A LOT with these folks).
