Happy Neighbor Day from United Way of East Mississippi! 💙

A strong community grows through everyday acts of care: checking in on someone, sharing a meal, lending a hand, or simply making sure a neighbor feels seen.

Across Kemper, Lauderdale, and Neshoba counties and the City of Quitman, we’re grateful for the people who show up for one another. Every voice matters, and every act of kindness makes a difference.

The Dyslexia Isn’t So Scary Scarecrow Contest is raising money to support dyslexia therapy for children in our community, and we would love for your business, organization, or family to be part of it!

🎃 There are several ways you can help:

Sign up, grab your scarecrow kit, and let your creativity take over! Build and decorate your scarecrow to represent your business, organization, team, or just have some fun with it.

Once you’re signed up, it’s time to get your kit and start creating! Remember, you have less than a week to get your scarecrow ready!

Maybe building a scarecrow isn't your thing, but you still want to support the contest? We would love donations of prizes for our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners!

Want to help but don't have a business or organization that can participate? You can sponsor a scarecrow for a local nonprofit and help give them the opportunity to join in on the fun!
