I was informed last night by our SGIG Bill Sloan that Illustrious Bill Sellers 33°, General Secretary for the Jackson Valley and Potentate for the Wahabi Shrine passed away yesterday. I was slow in getting this information out as I wanted to be able to share the arrangements, however they have not been posted yet. Please keep Brother Bill’s family, friends, the Jackson Valley, Wahabi Shine and his lodge in your thoughts and prayers as they adjust to being without Bill.

On Sunday May 31st, 2026 The Mother Council of the World returns to the place it all began: Charleston, South Carolina.

This historic live stream event will be broadcast on our YouTube channel beginning at 12pm central time with greetings from across the Southern Jurisdiction and at 2pm the Supreme Council will open a special 225th Anniversary session LIVE from the Valley of Charleston.

We held our Cap & Ring ceremony on May 7th and 3 brothers completed their 32°. Congratulations to out new 32° members.

We had a great day on April 18th for our Spring Reunion. We initiated 3 new brothers into our valley. Our Reunion was in memory of our Past General Secretary Don Robert Wade 33° and I was extremely proud to have his family present to share this day in his memory. We also presented a well deserved 50 year certificate and pin to a member of our valley.

I want to thank each and every member that attended and worked so hard for the valley. Your hard work is appreciated and our candidates were impressed.

The Meridian Valley Scottish Rite Spring Reunion will be held on April 18, 2026 at the Meridian Masonic Center. All Scottish Rite Masons are invited to come out and support our candidates who will be earning their Scottish Rite degrees. The gavel will rap at 8am beginning with the 4th°.
