Every mattress donated, every dollar given, every post shared, and every prayer lifted helps us put another child into a warm, comfortable bed of their very own.

There is something incredibly special about knowing that tonight, a few more little heads will lay down somewhere soft, safe, and comfortable. 🥹💙

Our waiting list continues to grow, but so does the love of this community. Time and time again, when we put out the call, you show up—and because you do, we are able to keep saying YES to children who need us.

We truly could not do this without you.

🛏️ BEDS FOR LITTLE HEADS — AN UPDATE FROM OUR HEARTS ❤️

12 MORE CHILDREN now have beds of their own! 🙏❤️

Because of the incredible generosity of our community, we have been able to help 12 more children from our waiting list. We cannot thank you enough!

But as quickly as we help one family, another call seems to come in. Right now, we have 24 FAMILIES WAITING for help, and our biggest need continues to be:

This is a huge ask—we know that. But time and time again, our community has shown up for these little ones, and we simply could not do this without all of you.

🛏️ Our Biggest Need Right Now: Twin Mattresses ❤️ I know I haven't posted in a while, but we have been busy getting donations out and working hard to answer calls and messages. BUT FIRST, we want to take a moment to say THANK YOU to everyone who answered our call the last time we needed mattresses. Whether you donated a mattress, gave money toward purchasing one, shared our post, or simply helped spread the word. you made a difference!

Because of your generosity, we were able to take care of so many of the little ones who were waiting for a bed of their own. ❤️

But the requests keep coming.

The last of our mattresses are going out today, and once again, our supply will be empty.

TWIN Mattresses continue to be our BIGGEST and most urgent need. 🛏️

We are asking our wonderful community once again for help. If you would like to donate a new or GENTLY used mattress or contribute toward the purchase of mattresses, every single donation helps us get another child off the floor and into a bed. Our amazon wish list is still posted, or you are welcome to drop off mattresses or send donations.

We are continually amazed by how our community comes through when these children need us most. We truly could not do this without all of you — and without HIM. 🙏

We believe that if He brings these little ones to us, He will surely make a way for us to take care of them. And so many times, that way has been YOU. ❤️

🐺😂 REPOSTING MAVERICK… because apparently he has some opinions. 😂🐺

Listen… would actually like to file a formal complaint.

He’s been here for a few months now, and according to him, this whole “waiting for a family” thing is getting a little ridiculous. Every time a volunteer walks by, he lets us know exactly how he feels, with the full-blown husky talk back. 😂

You know the sound…

“Excuse me… HELLO? I believe you’ve forgotten that I’m supposed to have a couch by now!”

Maverick is hilarious.
He’ll carry on an entire conversation with you, complete with dramatic husky commentary, and somehow you’ll find yourself talking right back to him. His personality is larger than life, and he keeps our volunteers laughing every single day.

He came to HHPP with his two girlfriends, Debbie and Letha, and they’ve all coexisted wonderfully while waiting for homes of their own.
He walks nicely on a leash, loves getting out with our volunteers, and is everything you’d expect from a husky, smart, goofy, adventurous, and just the right amount of dramatic.

He’s looking for someone who understands the breed and is ready for a best friend who will happily “argue” with you, sing you the song of his people, and make every day a little more entertaining.

Our shelter is overflowing, and Maverick is more than ready to trade kennel life for a forever home.

So… who’s ready for daily conversations with a dog who always has the last word? ❤️

We are so grateful for the recent donations that have come in specifically to help purchase mattresses. Your generosity is already making a difference, two littles are now all set for a cozy, safe night's sleep! 😀

Every donation, big or small, helps us answer another family's call for help and reminds them they are not alone.
