On this Independence Day, we pray for our country, our leaders, our service members, our first responders, and all who call this land home. May we use our freedom well: to serve others, protect life, seek peace, and love our neighbor.

Congratulations Prince of Peace Center on your new Walk with Mom's in Need program! We look forward to working with you!!!

You’re invited to the launch of a new Prince of Peace Center program – Walking with Moms in Need.
The program ‘reveal’ will be held at 1 PM Thursday, May 28 here at Prince of Peace Center at 502 Darr Ave., in Farrell.
There will be light refreshments and the opportunity to tour the new space – created to help pregnant women and new moms through the baby’s first year.

Today we give thanks as Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish celebrates TWO YEARS of our Walking With Moms in Need ministry serving mothers and families throughout Mercer County.
Since May 25, 2024, our ministry has provided assistance to families more than 187 times through our Caring Closet outreach, offering diapers, wipes, clothing, toys, baby equipment, emotional support, referrals, and other essential resources to those in need.
This ministry would not be possible without the incredible generosity of our parishioners, volunteers, donors, and community supporters. Your kindness and compassion continue to make a real difference in the lives of local families.
We are also grateful for the growing number of organizations throughout Mercer County working to support mothers and families, including Prince of Peace Center and their newly launched Walking With Moms in Need ministry. Together, we continue striving to ensure that no mother walks alone.
Thank you for helping us live out the Gospel by supporting mothers, children, and families with dignity, compassion, and love.
