Generous congregation, CIF church loan makes first building purchase a reality for Abundant Life Church in Longmont, 31 miles north of Denver

The gospel is making further inroads in Colorado, where a longtime church plant of about 80 people persisted, ran a successful capital campaign and purchased a former bank building in Longmont, partnering with Christian Investors Financial (CIF) for a church loan.

With a significant down payment and a church loan from Christian Investors Financial (CIF), Hope Community Church - Lowertown in St. Paul, Minn. purchased a longtime church building in a residential neighborhood of the city. The church has had a relationship with CIF for years and communicated well. “The speed at which CIF was able to approve the loan was just so smooth, and there were never any hiccups,” said Lead Pastor Brian Silver.

Redeemer Rockwall near Dallas, a growing PCA church, owned land to build on and explored buying a building, but found better solution by consulting with CIF.

“We love our local bank, but they just can’t compete with what CIF can do,” said Julie Meyer, director of operations for the church.

Her church board felt strongly that partnership with CIF was a matter of stewardship, as the faith-based institution also helps other churches.

Door Creek Church in the Madison area of Wisconsin saved money by refinancing with CIF and is aggressively paying down its mortgage. “Another church’s dollars helped us and now our dollars are helping other churches,” said Leigh Feldmann, Door Creek director of operations. The church is on a path to debt freedom and CIF rejoices with them!
