"I can’t believe we’re actually doing this.

It was late June 2024. The mid-afternoon sun warmed my face as we walked along the narrow trail of the renowned Tour Du Mont Blanc (TMB), enveloped in every direction by breathtaking mountain vistas. The day’s journey had begun in an Italian valley, weaving us up and over a high mountain pass before dropping us into a small Swiss village—the moments in-between filled with conversation, laughter and stillness.

All of it in the company of fellow EFCA pastors."

"Sometimes Joshua would reach over and lay his hand on my chest and pray that God would completely heal me, that the cancer would be gone. Gone, gone. So gone that the scar from my lumpectomy would disappear.

"A God who conquered death could do that. We knew He didn’t have to. But we knew He could, and so we asked.

"I would look down at my chest. The scar never disappeared."
