Thanks to the incredible support of donors, partners, and WishMakers, Make-A-Wish Mid-South granted 285 life-changing wishes last year, creating moments of joy, hope, and strength for children and their families across the Mid-South.

That same level of impact continues this year, with every drive down the fairway and every putt on the green moving more kids closer to hearing the words “your wish is granted.” ⭐

The impact goes far beyond a single day on the course. It lives in every wish fulfilled and in every child who gains renewed hope for the future. 💙

As our Wishes Work Wonders campaign with KATV Channel 7 comes to a close, stories like Andrew’s remind us that the impact of a wish doesn’t end when the excitement settles; it grows. 💙

We loved partnering with KATV Channel 7 to spotlight Andrew, a wish alum who once wished for a custom guitar… and still plays it to this very day!🎸

What started as a wish during a challenging time became a lifelong source of joy, creativity, and connection.

Today, Andrew is building a life with his wife and baby girl, but that wish is still part of his story.

isn’t just a campaign, it’s a truth we see at Make-A-Wish Mid-South every day.

Because a wish isn’t just granted.

It carries forward, building strength and creating hope for future wish kids.

Every wish Make-A-Wish Mid-South grants is rooted in one purpose: bringing hope, joy, and moments of relief to wish kids facing critical illnesses.

Meet Gabe, a wish kid who has been a fighter since day one.

Born with HIE and facing complex medical challenges, his life has been filled with appointments and routines no child should have to navigate.

Then his wish to go to Walt Disney World came true. ⭐

And for one incredible week…
💙 the schedules stopped
💙 the stress faded
💙 the smiles and endless laughter took over and filled the air

“I’ve never seen him smile as big as he did that week,” his mom, Angela, shared.

“We had the freedom to just exist.”

That’s what a wish can do.

Not just a break but a reset for Gabe and his entire family.

Joelle's wish is coming true! 💫

As a fan of English, history, and theatre, Joelle has always loved a good story. So when it came time to choose her wish, she went all in on something unforgettable: traveling to Romania to visit Dracula’s castle. 🏰🧛‍♂️

It’s the perfect blend of history, legend, and a little bit of spooky fun, and we can’t think of a better fit for her interests.

Thanks to the amazing wishmakers at Paragon Bank 💙, Joelle and her family are getting ready to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure together.

From exploring a new country to stepping into the world of one of the most iconic stories of all time, this trip is sure to be one she’ll never forget.

Lennox used to play for hours, until one day, he didn’t.

“He started wanting to sleep more… my motherly instincts were going off,” his mom, Tracey, said.

After months of uncertainty, Lennox was diagnosed with leukemia. Life changed overnight. Years of treatment followed, along with time apart from family, missed milestones, and unimaginable challenges.

But Lennox never stopped fighting. 💙

When he was introduced to Make-A-Wish Mid-South, Lennox knew exactly what he wanted: a trip to Walt Disney World and to meet his favorite characters at Universal Studios.

And when that wish came true… something shifted in Lennox and his entire family. ✨

“He lit up. The excitement on all the boys’ faces was the best thing ever.”
For the first time in years, this family wasn’t thinking about treatments or what came next.

They were just together.
Just laughing.
Just being a family again.

“Hearing my boys say, ‘Mama, look at this!’… seeing them hype Lennox up… just be brothers again.”

And for Tracey, one moment stood above the rest:
“Seeing my child be a kid again—that was everything.”
