Career Exposure in Action! 🌟

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis, workforce development is about helping our members see the possibilities for their futures and understand the many pathways available to get there.

Members of our Craigmont Club recently had the opportunity to participate in a workforce development tour of the FedEx St. Jude Championship, gaining an inside look at the diverse careers and industries that help bring this world-class event to life.

Throughout the tour, members heard directly from managers and professionals in fields including hospitality, landscaping, HVAC, and more. They learned about the skills, training, and career pathways that can lead to success in these industries while seeing firsthand how different professions work together behind the scenes.

A special thank you to Coca-Cola and FedEx for providing our members with this valuable real-world career exposure. Opportunities like these are an important part of our commitment to workforce development, career exploration, and preparing young people for successful futures.

When our youth can see what’s possible, they can begin to envision where their own talents and interests can take them. 💙

🎾🏓 Day 1 of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis Tennis Invitational is in the books!
We kicked off an incredible weekend with Women’s Tennis Friday morning and wrapped up the day with a fun evening of pickleball! What a great way to start the weekend!
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who played, participated, volunteered, and supported Day 1. Your support helps make this event so special and, most importantly, helps us continue making a difference in the lives of young people across our community. 💙
