Piceance Mustangs We are a volunteer-driven non-profit organization committed to supporting and preserving the wild mustangs of the Piceance-East Douglas HMA.

Our mission emphasizes the importance of maintaining a thriving, self-sustaining horse herd on healthy rangelands. We are a group of volunteers that support
*Long term maintenance of a viable, healthy free-roaming horse herd on
healthy rangelands, and implementing range improvement
projects. Piceance Mustangs provides support for the Bureau of Land
Management, primarily the White River Field Office, in the form of goods
and volunteers. Piceance Mustangs volunteers will coordinate their efforts
with the BLM.

*Provide information and education promoting the value of the Piceance-
East Douglas Herd Management Area horses.

*To seek funding from grants, contributions and other sources to
accomplish the foregoing purposes.

🐴 PICEANCE MUSTANGS RANGE IMPROVEMENT DAY — TOMORROW! 💧

Join us Saturday, September 26 at 10:00 AM for a Range Improvement Day!

📍 Meeting location: CR 91 & CR 24
🧹 Project: Cleaning water tanks

Bring gloves, boots, and anything you think might be useful for cleaning out water tanks. Many hands make light work, and every bit of help makes a difference for the horses and their range.

We’d love to see you there! 🐴❤️
