🎨✨ Color Meeker’s History – Round 3! ✨🎨

Our third 250/150 Coloring Contest is here! 🇺🇸🏔️ We had 6 total entries in Round 2 of this fun little celebration for our nation's 250th and Colorado's 150th birthdays - can we beat that number in Round 3 with the White River Museum?

🖍️ Open to ages: 3-10 | 11-17 | 18+

🖌 Show us the cabins in YOUR style! Use paper or canvas; draw or color with paint, pencils, markers, charcoal, or crayons. Make it realistic, colorful, abstract, black and white, or cartooney!

📌 Coloring sheets are available at the Meeker Library, White River Museum, Chamber Visitor Center, or on the Uplift Meeker page.

📍 Drop off your entry at the Meeker Chamber Visitor Center before August 31st—then see it on display at the Meeker Library and the Uplift page for community voting!

🎉 One winner from each age category will receive a fun prize, and all entries shine a spotlight on our local history and creativity.

Community Invited to Help Create Teddy Roosevelt Mural

Uplift Meeker is excited to continue the Pioneers in Paint Project with a new community paint-by-number mural featuring Theodore Roosevelt, one of the most influential figures in western conservation and outdoor recreation.

Community members of all ages are invited to stop by Meekerpalooza on Friday, June 12, on the Courthouse Lawn and help bring the mural to life by painting a section of the design. No artistic experience is necessary—just grab a brush and join in the fun!

The completed artwork will first be displayed around the community before becoming a permanent outdoor mural in downtown Meeker. The project is designed to celebrate the people and stories that helped shape our region while creating opportunities for residents and visitors to leave their mark on a lasting piece of public art.

The Pioneers in Paint Project is part of Uplift Meeker's ongoing efforts to enhance downtown through public art, celebrate local heritage, and create meaningful community connections.

Come paint, connect, and help create the next piece of Meeker history! 🎨🖌️✨
