Meeker Lodge is Supporting the Kafitz Family

The Kafitz family recently suffered the heartbreaking loss of their 17-year-old son, a bright and well-loved young man who attended Meeker High School. While navigating a grief no parent should ever have to endure, they are also facing the burden of funeral expenses.

Meeker Masonic Lodge #479 will dedicate our September pancake breakfast to supporting the Kafitz family. We hope our community will come together to help ease one small part of the burden they are carrying and remind them they are not alone.

No amount of money can lessen their loss, but together we can surround this family with compassion, prayer, and support.

Please keep the Kafitz family, their loved ones, and everyone who knew their son in your thoughts and prayers.

As Worshipful Master of Meeker Masonic Lodge #479, I want to personally thank everyone who came out today to support our Pancake Breakfast for the Meeker Band.

When our Lodge voted to dedicate this breakfast to the band, we hoped our community would come together to help these students. Once again, the people of Meeker showed what it means to care for one another. Because of your support, we will be able to help provide resources for the band program and invest in the young people who represent our school and our community with pride.

I’d also like to thank every Brother of Meeker Masonic Lodge #479 who gave their time and worked hard to make this breakfast possible. Your willingness to serve is what Masonry is all about.

To everyone who came through our doors this morning—whether you ate breakfast, made a donation, or simply shared words of encouragement—please know that you made a difference. Your generosity will have an impact far beyond today.

It is an honor to serve as Worshipful Master of this Lodge and to be part of a community that never hesitates to help its neighbors. Thank you for believing in our students and for showing them that Meeker stands behind them.
