The Forward Community Center has a great space for team meetings, brainstorming, and getting together to work on big ideas. And if you need a quick break, the walking track is a nice bonus to get up and moving during the day. 😊

Today is World Mental Health Day. Here at the Rec Center, we believe physical and mental health go hand in hand.

We were excited to host our first Be Strong: Afterschool Fitness Program this past Tuesday and show youth how movement can help us feel stronger physically and mentally.

We’re proud to continue creating programs that support the wellbeing of our community members. If you’re struggling, please know that you’re not alone. We’re here to welcome you, support you, and meet you where you are.

The Be Strong: Afterschool Fitness program has space for a few more youth participants this October!

Wondering what the Forward Community Center is all about? Looking for a place to get connected?

Come check us out for our first Family Night on October 22 at 6:00 PM!

We want to give our community a chance to get to know our facility, learn more about what we offer, and see how we’re working to support both physical and mental health through fitness, activities, and connection.

We’ll have a fun night of Jeopardy, so bring your family, bring a friend, and come test your knowledge! There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. 🏆

A big thank you to our community partners, Forward Bank and Dixon Greiner Realty for donating prize baskets!

This program is free and open to the public for youth 18 and under. Registration is not required, but a waiver must be filled out prior to participating.
